Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunities

 

Behavioral Health CRNP, LCSW or CNS 

 

Washington Behavioral Health Associates was established October 2009 and is owned by the WPSO – Washington Physician Services Organization. Patients served are those of age 18 and older. 

 

This new full time position will be responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing and managing patients in the outpatient or office environment according to and by applying standards and practices of this new and growing office. CRNP duties would also include assisting the physician with inpatient care.


 

 Per Diem CRNP @ Urgent Care Center

 

This Per Diem position at the newly established Urgent Care Center will be responsible for Incorporating advanced and specialized nursing knowledge and skill, serves as a clinical expert, educator and consultant. Deliver and/or clinically supervises specialized nursing care to patients. Serve as a resource and role model for nursing staff, families, the community, and other healthcare professionals. Advise management of professional trends and directions with suggestions for plans and/or actions.

High school diploma or GED and successful completion of approved program as a Nurse Practitioner including a current or commitment to ACLS within 1st year of employment with appropriate renewal there after required. Actively licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of
Pennsylvania. Scope of license must include pediatrics. Emergency training or experience preferred.

L.P.N. Job Opportunities

This Full Time (daytime & no weekend) Floating Medical Assistant or L.P.N. position provides unique exposure and an array of physician office experience in the Washington county area of several specialties and multifaceted job duties.  The Medical Assistant or L.P.N. will assure each patient visit and the logistical arrangements surrounding the visit are carried out with courtesy, care and consistency. Assist the physician/extender in patient care and education. 

 

Must be able to display excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills work independently or as a team member, be computer savvy, perform front-office duties and fluent with patient triage techniques – especially injections to persons of ALL ages and venipuncture on adults. 

 

Medical Assistant: High school diploma or GED required.  Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred. Completion of CPR commitment, excellent communication, multi-tasking, ability to handle stressful situations and organizational skills required. Previous physician office experience and computer skills preferred.

 

L.P.N.:  Graduate of an accredited L.P.N. program and current Pennsylvania L.P.N. license.  Current CPR or commitment to obtain.  Trained in IV administration with current experience preferred.  Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar type setting or area of practice specialty preferred.  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, organize, and problem-solve. 

 

 

 

Radiology Technician Job Opportunities

 

Per Diem Radiology Technician @ Urgent Care Center

 

The Urgent Care Center is actively recruiting Per Diem Radiology Technicians for 12-hour shifts. Qualified candidates will prepare patients for examinations; explain procedures and answer questions. Perform diagnostic and procedures for patients as ordered by CRNP/Physician. Obtain high quality diagnostic radiographs. Provide patient care and ensures safety and comfort of patients while in radiology. He or she should also be able and willing to perform other office and patient care related duties. 

 

Requirement include a High School Education or GED and successful completion of a two (2) year educational or specialized training program in Radiologic Technology from an approved School of Radiology; current ARRT registration or eligible for registry required. Current or commitment to achieve CPR certification. Previous experience performing radiologic procedures in a hospital, clinic or physician setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, multi-tasking and ability to handle stressful situations required.
