About Your Visit

With seven Board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists on staff and two Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, we can provide all aspects of obstetric and gynecological care. Our university-trained physicians provide the comprehensive care of an academic medical center while providing personalized attention to each patient.
Our staff members are here to make you feel comfortable during your care at our office. We have 30 employees with two registered nurses that are available to help you with your medical questions. Our billing specialist is available to answer questions regarding surgery and in office fees. Our Office Manager is available to assist you with questions or concerns about our practice.
Washington Health System OB/GYN Care emphasizes patient comfort. The LDR (labor, delivery, recovery) rooms at WHS Washington Hospital provide a homelike setting in which you can receive compassionate, one-on-one care, with all of the modern advanced level of obstetrical care.
Epidural service is available 24 hours a day from the Anesthesia Department at WHS Washington Hospital. Additionally, our ties to Pittsburgh hospitals offer convenient access to specialty services, such as genetic counseling, neonatal intensive care, and in-vitro fertilization and other fertility services.
Our practice emphasizes preventive medicine, with care individualized for each patient. Our services include annual gynecological examinations, cancer screenings, mammograms, PAP tests, peripheral and full body bone density screening, routine immunizations, and family planning.
We are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS), infertility, urinary incontinence, menopause, gynecologic malignancies and many other gynecologic conditions.
We specialize in all aspects of gynecological surgery from traditional to minimally invasive surgery which can help reduce post-operative recovery time.
Our office uses an automated voice mail system that enables us to efficiently process your call. Whether you are inquiring about test results, prescription refills, or billing issues, our system routes your call so that you may speak with the appropriate staff person as quickly as possible. This system also features an option for medical emergencies, rapidly connecting you to a staff member.
If you have an after-hours emergency, we recommend you go to Washington Health System Washington Hospital to be evaluated by a physician.
Our practice accepts most major insurance plans. If you have questions regarding our participation in your plan, you can contact our Billing Department. Some of these insurance plans may require you to obtain preauthorization from your PCP before visiting our office or having a procedure done. Many plans do not cover screening procedures; therefore, we recommend that you verify your coverage prior to your visit. Our LPN will assist you in obtaining any prior authorization that may be required.
