Intouch Weekly Jeremy Piven is an American actor who is well-known for his 2x Golden Globe and 3x Emmy Award-winning role as the fast-talking Hollywood agent ‘Ari Gold’ on the HBO series Entourage. He has also starred in a host of other popular films and TV shows including Grosse Point Blank, Singles, Very Bad Things, Smokin’ Aces, The Family Man, Heat, PCU, Old School and the British period drama Mr Selfridge.
Piven’s acting career was kick-started by the prestigious Piven Theatre Workshop, which was cofounded by his parents and where he trained in the Meisner technique. His acting skills were further honed at the New School for Drama where he studied with the likes of John Cusack.

He remained with the show for two seasons before leaving to try his hand at other roles.
Besides being an accomplished actor, Piven is also an active producer and voice-over artist. He has a wide range of interests that include physical fitness, jazz dancing, drumming, and jiujitsu.
