Information About Your First Visit

Please review the office policies and responsibilities for patients detailed below:


Cancellation and Missed Appointments: Your scheduled appointment is our commitment to provide you the requested service at a specific day and time. We kindly ask for a 24 hour advance notification for cancellations. Providing us this notice enables us to provide services for other individuals seeking services. You will receive an automated call from Washington Behavioral Health one day before your scheduled appointment. You will be asked to call back and confirm your appointment with us. A pattern of same-day cancellations and/or missed appointments may result in terminations of services. Adherence to this policy enables us to best serve the needs of all patients.


Medication and Prescription Refills: Please bring a list of your medications, including over the counter medications that you currently take to your first appointment. Washington Behavioral Health requires a 24-48 hour notice on all prescription refills. Washington Behavioral Health does not provide early refills for controlled medications including opiates, benzodiazepines, stimulants and other addictive medications.


Payments: Payment for services is expected at the day and time of service including applicable co-payments. Please remember to bring your insurance card along to each appointment. You will be asked to provide this card to ensure account accuracy. It is the patient’s responsibility to be aware of their own insurance coverage, deductibles, co-payments, and any other details related to their insurance.
